
This is the first installment of high-quality, professional free fonts available on the internet. This is a hand-selected collection of ten recently released fonts ready for you to use and abuse.
While these may be free to download, these may NOT be free for commercial use. Please read the documentation enclosed with the files or visit the font designers website to understand the terms of use.
How to install a font
Unzip the files you have downloaded, then:
* Windows 7/Vista: Right-click on the font files > “Install”
* Windows XP: Put the font files into C:\Windows\Fonts
* Mac OS X: Double-click the font file > “Install font” button

Alegre Sans is a nice, bold font with crisp letters. They are all capital letters, but the font includes a nice assortment of special characters and punctuation. This font was created by Jayvee D. Enaguas.

This is a hand-drawn font created by Brittney Murphy that caught my attention immediately. This includes a basic set of upper / lower case characters and the basic punctuation. DOWNLOAD APPLEBERRY

Created by Lukas Bischoff, Dock 11 is a strong, powerful and unique typeface. The characters are limited to upper case, with the lower case reserved for some text elements. the collection also includes numerals, some punctuation and a few select special characters. Highlands is a font with some serious bite. “Highlands is a charming slab-serif that draws inspiration from National Park posters of old. This is a professional looking typeface created by Esteban Muñoz Sarmiento and contains an excellent selection of letters, punctuation and special characters. This is the complete package.

A typeface from the now, apparently defunct, Casady & Greene design team, this script typeface is becoming one of my personal favorites. With atypical weighting (see the capital S in the text), this typeface has many unique characteristics that set it apart from other script fonts.

Despite the name, this typeface is a very classy, elegant font. Unfortunately, the free download only contains the upper and lower case characters, but may contains a full character set with commercial purchase. Lastly, we have the bold power of Tondu created by Jonathan Hill / The Northern Block. “A versatile display font that combines classic proportions with modern styling.
